Some light reading

On our last trip to the Provo DI Samantha figured out how to take the price tags off the books (she loves stickers) and put them on her face. We left quickly when I noticed her face covered in .50 cent stickers. :)

Samantha loves to 'read' the books with her face shoved into the middle but, only after carefully selecting the one with the most intriguing cover.

She threw a big fit as I was trying to take her out of the store-she is getting really good at these lately. Her fits usually go something like this: first she slowly lowers herself to the ground (as to not hurt herself) and then she kicks her legs and waves her arms and of course cries really loud. Then if it is really bad, she rolls on to her stomach (again, slowly) and kicks her legs and hits the ground with her fists, continuing with the crying. **I keep telling her this is not allowed until AFTER her second birthday which isn't for another 3 months!

Goose Egg Club

I was just talking about how most kids Mantha's age fall and get hurt all the time, and thinking to myself 'their parents must not watch their kids very well'. Well, today Mantha tripped pretty bad and joined the 'goose egg' club. So sad. Am I a bad parent?

We love to wii

We got a wii from Benj's work for Christmas and love to play it!
It was so fun to watch Grandma and Grandpa Anderton bowl and box each other, they are pretty competitive and would yell at each other and the T.V., Grandpa got a birdie on his first hole when he golfed!

Wii lovers come in all ages!

PINK!

Samantha has the cutest pink hooded towel that was hanging in her bathroom one day and I thought to myself 'that would be a cute color on the wall'. By the following day I had purchased, prepped, and halfway painted the bathroom that color: pink.

Here it is. In no way am I trying to show you how good I am with decorating, in fact, I'm quite sure once you see this you will know how much I lack in that department. (Jen and Elisa got all those genes, by the time I came along they were all used up.) I am just still a little proud of myself for being so spontaneous with choosing the color. I am going to decorate with yellow and blue and hopefully it will be a bright, fun bathroom for Mantha!

Work or Play?

I just had to post these of my Dad!
He goes out every snow storm and plows the driveway (which if you have seen it-well it's long), then he plows many of the neighbors' driveways and the circle. It takes him several hours to plow. One time he even drove his 4-wheeler down to Elisa's house (about a mile away) on main street and did her driveway for her. He is always doing things like that.....love ya Daddy.

Our quilt...as promised

Here are the pictures of the quilt we made as promised. Elisa did the quilting, that is the best part I don't know if you can see it on the pictures. It was a very long day. But, it turned out pretty cute don't ya think?
